Home is where Matty is

The Newlands are the kind of family that fills a home with warmth the moment you walk in — Jenna, Brian, their brand-new bundle of joy Matty (just about a month old), and their gentle pup Groot.

They invited me into their space for a relaxed, candid photo session — the kind I live for. Matty may have snoozed through most of it, but he was an absolute champ, perfectly content while his parents and Groot circled him with love. Jenna and Brian’s connection is effortless and full of joy — it shines through in every frame.

One of the most special parts? Capturing Matty with his grandparents. There's something deeply moving about documenting those first-generation-spanning moments — the way his grandparents looked at him was nothing short of pure love.

Between snuggles on the couch, quiet glances, baby stretches, and Groot always finding the coziest corner, the session was simple, real, and overflowing with heart. The Newlands are proof that the everyday is where the magic really lives.
